Latest news: GUT HACK, a documentary short by the filmmaking team Mario Furloni and Kate McLean and edited and co-written by Sara Newens about the bio-hacker Josiah Zayner, premiered in competition at SXSW 2017. It has played in competition at the Atlanta, Dallas and San Francisco Film Festivals, and will play at Nashville, IFFBoston and Montclair in late April. In post-production is Jennifer Reeder's US-German co-production, the futuristic fairy tale short ALL SMALL BODIES. 2016 saw Zach Shedd's stellar film-noir feature Americana (pre-order on iTunes: http://bit.ly/americanafilm) and four critically-acclaimed shorts make their way across the festival circuit: Robert Machoian & Rodrigo Ojeda-Beck's doc short OH MY FATHER, and narrative shorts VINCENT (filmmaker Tati Barrantes), CANARY (filmmaker Marie Schlingmann) and THE MINK CATCHER (filmmaker Samantha Buck).
